In its basic form myContactDetails works in the same way as your hand written address book. You can enter contact information such as telephone numbers, email addresses, birthdates into your online address book and these are then available to you wherever you have access to the internet.

The details you enter for your contacts will only ever be seen by you. You can choose to share any part of your profile with some or all of your contacts. So when you get a new mobile from work or move home, you can simply update your profile and your chosen contacts get to see your new details right away.
