The main goal of xLingo is to connect language learners around the word. We are an online community for language exchange.

People can simply register and fill out their profile. They can specify what languages they can speak or offer to teach and what languages they are wanting to learn. They can also go into details and rank their individual language skill from "Native" to "Just Starting", so a better match can be found.

Lastly they can also put a short comment on each language they put up. We try hard to make it so that a good match can be found. We are not a dating site, so we try to focus on the language area as much as possible. That's the reason we don't ask for too much personal questions such as the users' interests, marital status and etc. We try to make it as simple as possible.
