Blogging
for bloggers, by bloggers, of the bloggers.
Yes, today Indians have more than half a million blogs on the web. And the time has come for the bloggers to have their
significant presence being made felt to the rest of the country. There is going
to be a Blogcamp in India
on 16th of June at Pune wherein Bloggers from all parts of the country will be
taking part. If you are a blogger or you are interested in knowing about
blogging, don't miss this one.
Below are some details about the Blogcamp Pune.
What is Blogcamp Pune?
Blogcamp Pune is an unconference focused on Blog,
Bloggers and Blogging phenomenon. It's a one day event. Any blogger who wants
to contribute can join.
Where is it?
The venue for Blogcamp Pune is at SCIT (Symbiosis
Centre for Information Technology) at Hinjewadi IT Park, Pune, India.
What about Registrations?
The registrations have already started. There
would also be some people taking part virtually, using YouTube, SlideShare, Skype,
etc. if you are also interested then you can add your name to their wiki.
Plan for 16th June?
The way unconferences work is that, they don't
have an agenda, rather they'll put up a white board, where participants will
themselves add the topics they are interested to speak upon. Depending upon the
number of speakers they'll go for multiple threads. There will be some intense
discussions, and lots of fun and yes there will be blogging, video blogging,
photo blogging, podcasting ... everything that falls under the blogger sun and
persists its existence on the blogosphere.

OpenSourceRails.com makes it fast and easy to download an open source app or to upload your project to make it available for others to use. As of Oct. ‘09 there were about 88 apps available on the site. It’s easy to strike up a conversation with project authors and demo links are an option. |
