New foonz 'Schedule a call feature'

Foonz the online service offering conference calls has now introduced a new facility to schedule group calls. You can still start an instant group call any time you want, but now you can also schedule calls on foonz.

How to schedule a group call on Foonz

When you schedule a call, foonz will notify everyone in your group by email and/or text message, and give them the date/time and number to call. Then 15 minutes before the call starts, foonz will send a reminder notification. The call will start automatically, and anyone from the group who dials in will be able to join the call immediately. Remember, on any foonz call you can leave a message just for the people who couldn't join your call by pressing 3 at the end of your conversation.

To schedule a call for any of your groups, just log into your account at foonz and click on the name of the group in your contact list you want to schedule. Then click on "schedule this group." Here's a tip: before you schedule a call, be sure to add emails for your contacts in that group so they can receive the email notifications.

So, in addition to any time group calls, foonz is also perfect for that weekly club or project team discussion, the monthly association meeting, or that family call on Sundays! Remember, there is no cost to use foonz other than your normal phone call minutes.

Import contacts into your foonz contact list

Now you can import contacts into your foonz contact list in seconds, making it a snap to use foonz to contact larger groups like teams, clubs and support groups. You can import your contacts from Outlook, Yahoo, Gmail, Thunderbird and many other sources. If you have a spreadsheet or list with contact information, you can import from that too.

You need to log into your account at foonz.com and click on the "Import Contacts" button on your My Contacts page. Then select where you want to import from and follow the directions. foonz will display all of your contacts before importing them and you can select which contacts you want to import.
