SlideShare has hosted a Best Presentation contest on their site. Your presentation could be just about anything you know or would like to wax eloquent about.

  • You can upload PowerPoint (PPT & PPS), OpenOffice (ODP), PDF and Keynote (for Mac users) files
  • You can enter UPTO 5 presentations only

The contest is sponsored by Garage Technology Ventures an early-stage venture capital firm.

SlideShare's users will vote on the entries while the contest is on. The winning entries will be decided by our panel of judges (Guy Kawasaki, Bert Decker, Garr Reynolds, Jerry Weissman), which is comprised of the who's who of the presentation world. The People's Choice prizes will be decided on the basis of the votes polled.

Hurry up with your entries as the contest ends on April 23rd.

SlideShare update: They have just added the ability to download files (ppt/pdf) from SlideShare. You can only download files that the author has chosen to share. This had been their most-requested feature since launch, and they are more than happy to have it available to users.
