MySpace LogoMySpace has been getting into the news for all the wrong reasons. The teen social networking website was recently asked by Massachusetts to raise the levels of protection provided to their users, who are mostly minors, against online sexual predators. The website has also been asked to increase the minimum age for users to 18 from 14.

According to reports, there have been a few arrests that have involved sexual predators having illicit sexual contact with users via enticing them through MySpace. This has resulted in the authorities asking the website to immediately increase the security levels on the website to prevent such occurrences in the future.

they should lower the age limit to 12 because some kids have friends in New York Mexico and other places and they have no other way of contacting them. Like me my friend is maybe moving to Mexico Texas or New York and i wont be able to contact her and letters wont work so please change the age limit.
oh and my my space wont work i had to make five new accounts i changed the pass word because one of my friends hacked on and so i changed the pass word and now i cant get on. So

well, i think that raising the age limit or even having one first of all is total b.s. i mean, i have a friend in new hampshire and it takes like 4 freakin days for a letter to get there and not to mention it LONG DISTANCE! and if a kid is being a hoe on myspace, they were one before it and will be one without it. so parents blaming their sucky parenting on myspace is stupid. if ur kid is acting like a whore, then wat does that say for ur parenting? not much huh? and without myspace, the kid is still gonna be a hoe! so why punish everyone else for a few stupid kids? they don't have to put up their info. and they don't have to put up half naked pics. of themselves, not to mention that you can always set ur profile to private so it's ur own fault and no ne one elses. so quite blaming myspace and it's just like society to try and fix their mistakes by blaming others
