MySpace has been getting into the news for all the wrong reasons. The teen social networking website was recently asked by Massachusetts to raise the levels of protection provided to their users, who are mostly minors, against online sexual predators. The website has also been asked to increase the minimum age for users to 18 from 14.
According to reports, there have been a few arrests that have involved sexual predators having illicit sexual contact with users via enticing them through MySpace. This has resulted in the authorities asking the website to immediately increase the security levels on the website to prevent such occurrences in the future.
